A comissão nacional enviou hoje para a IAU o relatório final da campanha NomeieExoMundos, indicando os três pares de nomes finalistas, com seus respectivos votos. Outros países estão finalizando nesta semana suas campanhas, para poder cumprir o prazo de envio à IAU em 15 de novembro. Caso tenham curiosidade, abaixo estão os quesitos que foram preenchidos para enviar a IAU (devido ao embargo, a lista enviada só será mostrada após o anúncio mundial).
Section 1 - Introduction (no data is required)
Section 2 - Identification
2.1 - Your name
2.2 - Your email address
2.3 - You are: NOC, National Committee Chair, or Both
2.4 - Your country
Section 3 - Winning proposal (this is where you are going to enter information about the finalist proposal)
3.1 - Winning name of host star
3.2 - Citation for host star name (here you enter a short explanation/description of what this name means)
3.3 - Winning name of exoplanet
3.4 - Citation of exoplanet name
3.5 - Brief summary (1-2 sentences) of naming theme for exoplanet and host star (in this field, you should provide information on how both names are related to each other)
3.6 - Name of person/group who proposed the winning names (if a high number of people submitted the same proposal, you can enter the name of the first one who did it, or the one who came up with the best theme)
3.7 - Comments from the national committee on the proposal (if you want to include any other information about this proposal)
Section 4 - First back up proposal (this is a repetition from the above, but for the first back up)
Section 5 - Second back up proposal
Section 6 - Proposal statistics
6.1 - Number of proposals received
6.2 - Number of proposals down selected for voting
Section 7 - Public voting statistics (if you performed a public vote, this is where you should enter your data)
7.1 - Total number of votes
7.2 - Number of votes for winning star and exoplanet
7.3 - Number of votes for first back up star and exoplanet
7.4 - Number of votes for second back up star and exoplanet
Section 8 - Committee voting statistics (if you have performed a purely committee vote, here is where you should enter your data)
8.1 - Total number of votes (the number of people composing the National Committee)
8.2 - Number of votes for winning star and exoplanet (how many members of the NC voted for this proposal)
8.3 - Number of votes for first back up star and exoplanet
8.4 - Number of votes for second back up star and exoplanet
If you perform a mixed voting system, then you can fill both sections 7 and 8. An example of mixed voting is the following. Let's suppose you submitted 10 pairs of names for public voting, which ranked these proposals according to popularity. Afterwards, the national committee evaluated the results and made the final decision which was not necessarily the same as the result from the public vote.
However, unless your voting system was a mixture, please, fill only one of sections 7 and 8.
